Coordinator Economic Development – Full Time Salary: $121,873 - $129,707 per annum Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply) Permanent Full time (38 hours per week) Ref No: 25-023 The City of Joondalup’s Economic Development activities play a key role in transitioning Joondalup from an economy supported by population growth to one driven by business investment, innovation and entrepreneurship. The City is seeking an experienced Economic Development professional to lead the Economic Development team. The Coordinator Economic Development will provide high-level specialist advice and implement the City’s Economic Development Strategy and associated plans along with business support and capacity building. Working alongside Advocacy and Placemaking specialists, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Economic Development team. In addition, you will play an integral role in identifying and implementing improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and improve outcomes and service delivery and play a key role in the facilitation of industry clusters and business capacity building. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about economic development and positive leadership. Experience in identifying, developing and delivering economic development initiatives and programs to grow innovative ecosystems. Highly developed interpersonal skills with experience in managing complex and competing stakeholder expectations and building effective partnerships and relationships. Experience in management and coaching staff and giving feedback in a positive and constructive manner.
