International | UniSC Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs Level 7, $99,285 - $108,534 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation Full-time (36.25 hours per week), Ongoing appointment The Opportunity Join our dynamic team as the Coordinator, Global Learning! You'll lead the charge in coordinating, administering, and promoting our university’s learning abroad programs. Your role will secure funding and forge key partnerships with government departments, overseas institutions, and third-party providers. As the primary lead for Global Learning, you’ll develop and deliver high-quality, in-demand programs and student-centred learning abroad experiences that comply with all relevant guidelines and risk management frameworks. Please note - This role requires occasional non-standard working hours, potential restrictions on recreational leave during peak periods, and may involve occasional domestic and international travel. You will coordinate the ongoing development of innovative, student-centred global learning abroad programs for students to enrich the student experience, enhance student employability, and position graduates for success in the global environment; drive UniSC’s successful engagement with government funding schemes and programs relating to learning abroad, including the New Colombo Plan; develop and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including UniSC staff, government agencies, third-party providers, partner institutions, and UniSC alumni to increase student participation in learning abroad experiences; facilitate a culture of effective risk management, reporting and compliance and enhance processes using a continuous improvement and best practice ethos. About you You possess strong stakeholder engagement and representational skills, with the ability to effectively implement strategies to boost participation in learning abroad programs. You thrive both independently and as a productive team member, leveraging your initiative, problem-solving, leadership, and time-management abilities to excel under broad guidelines with minimal supervision. You will possess: completion of a relevant degree with at least 4 years’ subsequent relevant experience in a higher educational setting; or extensive experience and management expertise in a relevant administrative field in a tertiary setting; experience in developing, operationalising, evaluating, and reporting on strategic plans, policies and frameworks including working towards and reporting on progress towards targets; personal or professional experience in the learning abroad sector and previous study/work abroad or significant time spent abroad; proven track record in securing and managing government grants, preferably for learning abroad, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, reporting, and financial administration; experience and expertise in using, maintaining and optimising a learning abroad system.
