Coordinator Waste Planning and Compliance $153,824 pa + 12% superQld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 8.5 +10% of EBA Appointment will be for a 4 year term (with potential to extend) 72.5 hour fortnight Location: New, purpose built Narangba Depot Join City of Moreton Bay’s Waste Services department as Coordinator Waste Planning and Compliance, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow. Reporting directly to Manager Waste Services, as the Coordinator Waste Planning and Compliance, you'll deliver exciting programs, provide advice and support to senior stakeholders, coordinate the delivery of Waste Management plans, and lead regulatory reporting and compliance activities. You'll also: Drive the implementation of the Waste Reduction and Recycling Plan, and Waste Education and Community Engagement Plan activities. Manage multidisciplinary teams, providing guidance and direction. Develop business cases to support improved, best practice industry advancements in waste management, resource recovery and operational efficiency. We're looking for an experienced, senior waste industry professional, with strong prioritisation skills, able to successfully deliver on planning and compliance activities, and lead a multidisciplinary team through a changing, complex environment. You'll also bring: Demonstrated ability in executing key initiatives, effectively and efficiently. Expertise in waste governance and risk management practices. Active contribution to fostering a healthy, inclusive and well-connected workplace. Relevant Tertiary Qualification and significant experience in contemporary waste management required.
