Our Airport Operation Standards team have an exciting opportunity available in the role of Compliance and Risk Specialist . Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Systems Manager – Aircraft Turnaround Services, you will be responsible for supporting Airport Operations Compliance, Quality and Assurance activities and programs, including the provision of data insights and analysis expertise. You will play a critical support role in the continued monitoring and improvement of our risk mitigation programs and WHS and Safety performance. The day-to-day role may see you responsible for providing high quality identification and management of risk and including providing guidance to the business areas to ensure that the organisation meets their wide range of requirements, balanced against achieving appropriate safety, financial, operational, and customer outcomes. You Will Have experience in an airline/ramp and/or airport operations Hold lead auditor qualification, or be prepared to attain qualification requirements Possess a deep understanding of risk and compliance frameworks, and support in initiating policies and procedures when required. Be responsible for providing project support across Airport Services including new port start-ups, port readiness and ground service partner changes Identify areas of non-compliance and safety concerns and work with stakeholders to propose solutions using outputs such as recommendations, reports, draft guidance, policies, procedures for internal or Ground Service Providers use. Analyse and interpret a wide range of information referencing manuals and regulatory information Support in the preparation of materials for monthly departmental safety subcommittee, ASC, WHS, CMC and other safety committees representing Airport Services. Support and deliver continuous improvement and projects through applying Human Factors and Quality & Compliance Frameworks Monitor and report on safety performance, identifying trends and areas for continuous improvement. Provide ongoing risk assessment support Represent Airport Services during audits where Airport Customer Service functions are of primary focus Ability to travel domestically and within the Asia-Pacific region, as to support audits and assurance About Us The Jetstar Group has airlines in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and Vietnam.
