We’re looking for a Country Manager to join our team to oversee and drive our business growth strategy in Australia & New Zealand ; with a strong focus on marketing, B2B partnerships, e-commerce, and pricing & promotions. This is a brand new role making a huge impact on Yoto's exciting growth. About Yoto Yoto is a screen-free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels - think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like this one . We’re on a mission to be the soundtrack of childhood, and help families on their own unique adventures. Yoto’s Commercial Team Following a successful market launch in 2024, your leadership will be crucial to accelerating the next phase of our growth in Australia & New Zealand, bringing the magic of Yoto to as many households as possible. The Country Manager for Australia & New Zealand is responsible for creating the end to end revenue growth strategy for the market, working with global and local teams to ensure flawless execution. What you’ll be doing: Developing financial forecasts and budgets for the Australia & New Zealand markets Identifying the key opportunities to drive revenue growth across; channel strategy & optimisation, marketing, pricing & promotions Evaluating & developing key B2B partnerships in collaboration with the Commercial team Working in close collaboration with colleagues in the local marketing team to define the marketing strategy, and then working with global teams (PR, Social, Performance, Brand, Retention) as required to execute campaigns, on time and on budget Working with global teams to launch new products and campaigns in market Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients Coordinating with the Content team on the localisation and curation of audio content for the Australian & New Zealand market, ensuring cultural relevance and regional appeal Identifying and organising activation at relevant trade shows and events Coordinating across Operations and Supply Chain to ensure efficient product availability and delivery for the Australian & New Zealand market Monitoring market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making. What you’ll bring: Proven track record of successfully developing and executing business and marketing strategies in the Australian & New Zealand market, ideally with experience across marketing, ecommerce and B2B Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with global counterparts Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills Experience building and managing partnerships with brands, retailers, publishers, and content creators A passion for audio content and technology Ability to think on your feet, and learn fast. Salary: AU$160,000 - AU$200,000 based on experience What you can expect from Yoto: Flexibility: Sydney based - hybrid working. Whilst we establish the Australian team this role will initially be remote however the longer term expectation will be office presence on average once a week Financial: 11.5% Superannuation, Group Life & Disability policy - AU$50k with Allianz Health & Wellness: Bronze cover (single) with Allianz Time Off: Four weeks (20 days) of holiday per year, plus bank holidays. On top of this, you also receive your birthday off, plus 1 extra day of holiday for every year worked after you hit your 2 year anniversary, up to 5 extra days. After 4 years of service, you are also eligible for our sabbatical policy offering up to 3 months' of unpaid sabbatical. Helping Families: Variety of family-friendly leave, including carers leave.
