Job Description

Customer Advocacy and Engagement Officer A wholly owned commercial business of Logan City Council, Logan Water is dedicated to providing high quality water and wastewater services to the Logan community. We are committed to understanding and meeting the needs of our customers, ensuring a reliable and sustainable water supply and wastewater service. To support our continued drive to deliver outstanding services, we are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Advocacy and Engagement Officer. In this role, you will be the voice of our customers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed. You will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing our customer relationships and the service we offer the community. Key Responsibilities include: Deliver presentations and talks alongside our engagement specialists to educate the local community on water and wastewater topics. Ensure that the information customers need is easily available on our website. Deliver notices to customers affected by planned works. Proactively speak to Logan Water’s identified key customers to understand their water needs and compile our database. Handle customer calls on our Faults and Emergency phone line, triage their concerns using multiple systems, and raise work orders for field crews. Review smart water meter data to assist customers with opportunities to improve their water management practices. The successful applicant will: Enjoy working on a variety of activities and be good with task prioritisation. Demonstrate experience working autonomously on small projects. Possess strong IT skills across multiple platforms. Be able to flex and change with work demands. Be confident talking to the community, making decisions, and offering advice. The work hours for this position are 8:00am – 5:00pm on a 9-day fortnight, 20 days annual leave, plus up to 4 additional days Christmas leave. Why choose Logan City Council?
