An exciting opportunity awaits the right candidate. Monson Logistics is looking for a Customer Service / Account Manager to liaise and communicate with our customers and sub-contractors. The role can be fast-paced at times and would require someone that can work with a sense of urgency and focus. Some of the key responsibilities with this role are: Provide a high level of service to our customers Manage customer accounts Liaise with freight partners and internal stakeholders Coordinate freight forwarding activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods. Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, airlines, and international partners. Monitor and improve operational processes to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on changes in international trade laws and implement strategies to ensure compliance. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to meet client needs. Based in our Bell Bay Office, the Customer Service / Account Manager will work closely with the Operations teams to ensure safe and timely freight coordination and customer satisfaction. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Previous experience in Customer Service positions Good communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent computer skills are necessary to work quickly and efficiently. Good time management skills and ability to prioritize workload Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol test Note: Experience in the transport industry is desirable but not necessary as full on-the-job training is provided to the successful applicant.
