An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join the Admissions team as a Casual Customer Service Attendant! Being assigned to the Admissions team, you are employed to ensure our guests enter the Zoo in a friendly and welcoming manner. You are required to be knowledgeable about all our zoo promotions and events as well as our regular daily activities and presentations throughout the Zoo. Opportunities exist within this role to become multi-dimensional. You will need to have excellent customer service skills, excellent presentation, provide accurate and current information and work well with others. To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated integrity, honesty, flexibility, good energy levels and the ability to deal with fast-paced and high-pressure situations with ease. Duties Include: Welcoming and greeting customers, assisting patrons with enquiries. Completing all customer service with high standards. Point of Sale processing, including register operation, receiving and processing cash and credit card payments. This may include transactions such as ‘Annual passes’ or ‘Group Bookings’. MobiScan processing, which may include transactions such as ‘Annual passes’ or ‘Australia Zoo tickets’. Concierge duties, such as: Greeting Guests, assisting with Zebra Crossings, coordinating traffic and liaising with Senior Management regarding any incoming and outgoing traffic. Assisting guests with arranging public transport (translink and taxi) and coordinating bus pick up/drop off times to suit the Shuttles Team. Assisting during peak periods within other departments (Guest Services/Food and Beverage) under the direction of your department supervisor. Accurately giving change and receipts and processing any eftpos payments/visa payments when applicable. Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment. Assisting with directing customers through the appropriate booth, depending on their booking style. Assisting the Supervisor with completing additional tasks as required. Essential Criteria: Available to work weekends, public holidays, and school holiday periods. Experience in a similar role and long-term commitment to Australia Zoo. #J-18808-Ljbffr
