About this opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, results-driven team player to join our team in Sydney on a Permanent, Full-Time basis. Build strong and lasting relationships with customers and provide second-to-none customer service. Take full responsibility and end-to-end ownership of customer shipments and issues. Handle and take full end-to-end responsibility of bookings and execute all the activities related to the process (including space checks, equipment checks, pre-approvals etc.) Responsible for obtaining vessel operator approval (I.e DG cargo, Out-off gauge). Handling export customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and efficiency. Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to high volume inquiries promptly and professionally. Ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant, and lodged with the relevant authorities/ internal parties and systems by the deadlines. Ensure information in the booking system is accurate – update t/s misconnection, reapply approvals if necessary. Invoices creation according to procedure i.e booking cancellation, amendments, NO show, operational fees. Hands-on role where you must be able to multitask in a busy team environment. Understanding business criticality and prioritizing the tasks effectively to ensure customer satisfaction. Carry out all activities in a manner that will contribute to the achievement of individual and team performance. Following and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of our services, policies and procedures to provide accurate information to customers. Work independently and assist the team in realizing goals and standards – share knowledge and best practices. About you At least 1 year Customer service experience in the Container Shipping Industry. Bachelor's degree in any field. Confident learning new computer systems and internal procedures. Be an excellent team player and be able to work effectively under pressure. The successful candidate will also display excellent communication skills, ability to converse with people of all levels and is well organized, efficient and effective.
