Customer Services Officer - Shipping Exports Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) Australia is a global leader in transportation and logistics. The Role Due to a recent internal promotion, we are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Customer Services Officer to join the WA Customer Services Team at MSC Australia. Our Customer Service Officers are the face of MSC, providing outstanding service and solutions to our customers to meet their specific needs as they import goods into Australia and export goods around the world. This role is based in our Fremantle Head Office reporting to the WA Customer Services Manager, and will be focused on our customers requiring the export of goods from Western Australia. Key tasks and responsibilities: Be the first point of contact for general Customer enquiries and respond in a timely manner. Processing of Export Bookings. Follow up with Customers/Clients to ensure the maximisation of filling vessels. Ensure latest rates are in place for all export bookings, and that they are applied correctly. Ensure relevant regulatory requirements are followed. Complete relevant reporting for the department. Maintain Customer/Client files and records. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications and skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous customer service experience is essential. Ability to organise and prioritise, including the ability to work to deadlines. Shipping experience is highly regarded, although not essential.
