Customer Service/Administration Assistant Full-time Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company, providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, to make life and our environment safer, healthier, and more sustainable. Eurofins works with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labelling is accurate. Eurofins Agro Testing is an accredited Agricultural testing laboratory that specializes in Soil, Plant, and Water testing with laboratories located in Hindmarsh South Australia, Belmont Western Australia, and Burleigh Heads Queensland. Our client base includes farmers, agronomists, rural retailers, and research organisations. Full-time permanent role 37.5 hours Monday – Friday Immediate start Based in Hindmarsh, South Australia Secure, long-term role in a small close-knit team There is now an opportunity for a permanent full-time Customer Service and Administration Assistant to join Eurofins APAL. To be successful in this role, you must have a high level of proficiency in client interactions and experience in a customer-facing role. As you will be situated at our reception desk, you must be welcoming and personable with an excellent phone manner. Extensive experience in the office suite of products including Outlook, Excel, and Word is a must. The role also involves but is not limited to: Responding proactively and professionally to inbound calls and emails Welcoming clients and handling client enquiries efficiently Gaining understanding of our tests and test suites Logging in and batching samples Reporting results and various other functions using our Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) General filing and creation of documents for our Quality Management System Proactively contacting clients Offering assistance to clients who are using our digital technology platforms Offering clients guidance on test suites and sampling materials Creating invoices and assisting the Administration Manager Tracking client interactions using our CRM Applicants should also possess the following attributes: Be a quick learner, highly organized, and able to multi-task Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal Authentic customer service skills to engage in ongoing client relationships Courteous, professional & confident phone manner – ability to take effective messages Reliable, responsible, and punctual Willingness to learn and develop knowledge around laboratory testing General invoicing experience Previous experience in a customer service/administrative role An interest in science and/or agriculture Our admin team operates between 8:30 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday, with staggered starts between team members.
