Find your future with us.Location: RAAF Base Williamtown Category: Trade / Operations Position Type: Permanent Job Reference: BOE/1849064 Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is one of the largest defence companies in Australia, and is now recruiting highly skilled and motivated individuals to conduct Technical Maintenance (Avionics) courseware development and instructional activities at RAAF Base Williamtown for Boeing Defence Australia, supporting the Wedgetail E-7 Australian Program (Sustainment and Development) UK AEW Mk1 Program and E-7 Korea. This position fulfils vital Instructor delivery tasks and courseware material developmental activities, in support of both the sustainment and emerging work for all E-7 Aircraft platform training requirements. We are seeking self-motivated professionals with technical maintenance developmental and instructional skills with a desire for a challenging and rewarding career with BDA. We are actively recruiting Aviation Maintenance (Avionics) developers and instructors, with experience in the following fields to complement our team: B737NG Avionics Systems Airborne Radar Systems Electronic Warfare Systems E-7 Wedgetail - Unique Avionics Systems Air Force Maintenance Processes and Procedures Instructor and Courseware Development skills Responsibilities will include: Responsible for the conduct of all E-7 Aircraft Avionics Maintenance Instructor delivery for ongoing sustainment activities and train the trainer coach/mentoring tasks for emerging E-7 fleet support. Analysing lesson framework needs and designing maintenance training solutions and products to meet Boeing Defence Australia E-7 Aircraft Capability requirements, and evaluating the effectiveness of developed training programs. Provide SME support to the development of essential E-7 Aircraft Courseware to meet Boeing Defence Australia and DASR Regulation, primarily for Maintenance, but also including Pilot and Mission Crew training materials in order to meet stipulated training specifications. Conduct E-7 Aircraft Courseware continuous improvement tasks, develop and pilot new courses with new innovative processes and technology, working collaboratively with our E-7 Platform stakeholders. Requirements: Essential Certificate IV in Aeroskills Avionics (MEA40618) or equivalent qualification. Experience on the E-7 Wedgetail or B737NG with a B2 MAML or equivalent. Minimum 5 years Avionics Aircraft Maintenance (B2) experience. Desirable Diploma Training Design and Development (TAE 50122) or equivalent qualification. Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 40122) or equivalent qualification. Experience in DASR Pt. 66 and Pt. 147 compliance activities. Previous experience as an instructor is desired, but is not essential; BDA will support the right individual to achieve this qualification. Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
