Cyber Security Consultant - GRC (JO-2502-14824) Location: Canberra, AustraliaSector: ITSalary: $130.00 to $180.00 per hourBenefits: Hourly rate contract Lead Cyber Security Officer – Canberra Are you a cybersecurity professional with expertise in governance, risk, and compliance? We are looking for a Lead Cyber Security Officer to play a critical role in safeguarding digital assets. You will provide guidance on security controls, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with intelligence and cyber defense teams to strengthen security posture. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a secure and compliant digital environment. Key Responsibilities: Identify, assess, and manage risks related to IT security, privacy, and compliance. Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments, participating in red team operations. Integrate the latest threat intelligence into risk management strategies. Prepare reports translating technical findings into actionable recommendations. Key Requirements: Experience authoring security documentation such as SRMPs, SSPs, and SOPs. Technical expertise in system administration, software development, and cloud computing. Strong knowledge of government cybersecurity standards (PSPF, ISM).
