About the Opportunity We are looking for a dedicated and experienced DC Manager to join our Spare Parts Warehouse in Dandenong South. In this key role, you will be responsible for the management of the Spare Parts logistics operation across the ANZ group, effectively managing all DC activities to ensure timely fulfilment, dispatch of Spare Parts and driving continuous improvement in logistics processes. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain General Manager, you will initially have 2 direct and up to 21 indirect reports. Key duties will include: Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring adherence to WHS compliance across the operation. Lead, motivate and develop a highly productive operational team, managing direct and indirect reports against KPIs and operational requirements including:- Picking, packing, QA, receipting, storage and documentation. Maintain and oversee all areas of the Spare Parts operations fulfilment, recommending improved operating processes while ensuring current processes are maintained and reflect best practice. Maintain inventory accuracy over a product range of 10,000+ SKUs through process controls of inbound and inventory control functions including:- Cycle counts, location audits, management of damages and reworks. Maximize efficiencies and cost control through management of resources, focusing on continuous improvement and minimized costs. Ongoing preparation and management of Spare Parts budget and forecasts, identifying and realizing cost efficiencies. Build and maintain key internal relationships with stakeholders across the business, acting as subject matter expert and key point of contact for Spare Parts. What you will bring: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, with proven expertise in physical logistics. Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and as part of a team. Commercially astute, with exposure to budgeting and forecasting (preferred). Solid industry knowledge and an understanding of cost drivers across Supply Chain. Experience with WMS and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to SAP is highly regarded. Strong analytical skills, with experience in reporting within a distribution centre environment. Adaptability and the ability to context switch from BAU to strategic thinking. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
