Job Description The Opportunity As the Manager of Planning & Distribution Services for AU/NZ at John Deere, you will lead the charge in optimising parts availability and distribution. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker and innovator who can drive operational excellence and enhance customer support from their base in Brisbane.You will implement advanced solutions to improve parts availability and service efficiency, build strong partnerships with dealers and stakeholders, and align initiatives with organisational goals. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and leveraging technology for sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities: Champion and drive operational excellence by enhancing parts availability and service efficiency, meeting customer expectations, and optimising inventory at Deere and dealer networks. Cultivate strong partnerships with dealers and internal stakeholders to foster collaborative problem-solving and a culture of continuous improvement. Align and drive initiatives with broader organisational goals and strategies, contributing to overall business success. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to ensure decisions support long-term objectives and drive continuous improvement. Leverage advanced technologies to drive growth and sustainability in the Aftermarket business. Lead parts customer support initiatives focused on responsiveness, quality, and satisfaction. Inspire and guide the team to deliver superior parts support and exceed customer expectations. Required Skills & Experience: 3-5 years management experience as a senior leader or people manager with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team, driving them towards achieving common goals and demonstrated people management experience including performance management, coaching, mentoring and development. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management roles. Demonstrated skills in managing customer relationships and inventory management strategies. Proven record of successfully managing change and implementing continuous improvement activities. Extensive knowledge of business management, business analysis and review techniques to drive business outcomes & solutions. Experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and developing/implementing sales strategies. Strong negotiation skills to manage relationships with suppliers, dealers, and other stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in relevant software and tools used in supply chain management and logistics. Education / Experience: A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline, along with relevant work experience.
