Brothers Of Charity Services Ireland LIMERICK REGION Applications are invited for the following position: Day Activities Facilitator (Instructor Grade) Permanent Full Time Contract LOCATION: WEST LIMERICK Essential: Have a third level qualification relevant to the provision of service to individuals with intellectual disabilities or at a minimum a QQI Level 5 Major Award in community development, health or education. Experience of working with individuals with intellectual disabilities / ASD Experience of supporting individuals who can display behaviours of concern Demonstrate initiative, good interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to design and deliver a therapeutic and stimulating activity program Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team Ability to interpret the needs of others and assist in service planning Good interpersonal and adaptive communication skills Ability to be flexible and responsive to the needs of the service Excellent report writing and organisational skills Good IT skills Full Clean Manual Drivers License Desirable: Experience in communication systems e.g. Lámh, PECS, visual aids, communication boards, assistive tech etc. Informal Enquiries: Breda Rowsome, Area Manager Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Sunday 2nd February 2025 Short listing of applications may apply.
