Patterson Cheney seeks a General Sales Manager to lead our new vehicle sales team and drive success across our brands, including Patterson Cheney Isuzu UTE, Dandenong JAC and Mahindra. If you are a passionate automotive Sales leader ready to make a significant impact with some of our exciting up-and-coming brands, we want to hear from you.About the Role: As the General Sales Manager, you will:Lead a small, close-knit team focused on new vehicle sales across Isuzu UTE, JAC Motors, and Mahindra. Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed targets. Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of sales professionals, ensuring their success through guidance and support. Build and nurture strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction. Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations, including inventory management and after-sales support. Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and implement necessary improvements to optimise team performance. Present sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the management team. About You: Proven experience as a sales leader or a Sales Manager seeking a new challenge. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders. Results-oriented mindset with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Familiarity with the local market and customer preferences is a plus.
