You’ll contribute to a team that continually improves online education and supports UniSA’s growth in postgraduate programs, short courses, and global student engagement.Degree Adviser As the Degree Adviser, you are the first point of contact for raising the profile of UniSA Online programs by providing professional and accurate information to prospective students via phone, email, and online (form and chat). Through your pro-active and high-quality customer service, you will contribute to achieving short and long-term student enrolment targets for our programs.You will work collaboratively with your colleagues and staff across UniSA Online to facilitate information sharing and cross-skilling, aiding in consistency of systems and processes, whilst contributing to an ongoing team culture of customer service and continual improvement.Opportunities available: • One (1) full-time, fixed-term contract until 30 June 2025Student Adviser The Student Adviser is a key point of contact for the online student cohort. By providing outstanding customer service, you will establish and maintain early relationships with designated groups of commencing UniSA Online students to assist in their transition to study, including welcome calls and providing enrolment information.Displaying empathy in every interaction, as the Student Adviser you will identify and meet student needs in a respectful and supportive manner, responding to a range of queries relating to enrolment, study support, student wellbeing, and administration.Opportunities available: • One (1) full-time, fixed-term contract until 8 June 2026Core Responsibilities Degree Adviser Deliver high quality customer service to prospective UniSA Online students Respond to prospective student enquiries using templates and established practices Conduct outbound campaigns via phone, email and online (form and chat) Effectively guide a prospective student through the application process, using a case management and quality customer service approach Ensure accurate and timely data entry of prospective student details into the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and other systems relevant to the admissions process Student Adviser Establish early relationships with designated groups of commencing UniSA Online students to assist in their transition to study Deliver high quality support and customer service through resolution of issues on students’ behalf Accurately record student data using the CRM and other relevant systems Work collaboratively with staff across UniSA Online and the wider University, contributing to an ongoing culture of excellent customer service Essential Skills and Experience Degree Adviser Experience in a sales related environment with a focus on achieving targets Demonstrated provision of high quality, responsive customer service with excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner (clear voice, good listening and courteous engagement) Initiative and the ability to problem-solve using sound organisational skills, prioritising between conflicting demands to meet deadlines Student Adviser Demonstrated provision of high quality, responsive customer service with excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner Experience in providing information to a range of customers High levels of empathy, excellent relationship building ability, and collaborative teamwork approach Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures About UniSA The University of South Australia is Australia’s University of Enterprise.
