Learn more at: WIL Program . About the Opportunity Are you passionate about guiding university students towards practical experiences that align with their career aspirations? We are seeking an impactful individual to join our team as a Student Placement Adviser (called a Work Integrated Learning Adviser internally), based at Curtin University (Bentley Campus). This role entails: Seeking placement opportunities in WA businesses that can further develop university student’s skills and provide businesses with the internship support they need. Delivering outstanding workforce results for our clients and improving graduate outcomes for students. Utilising recruitment strategies to pair talented students with businesses across WA. Developing and maintaining relationships in the business community and increase the number and variety of WIL placements offered to students. Predominantly working with Science and Engineering students, with the possibility of expansion to other faculties in the future. This role is a part-time position (0.6FTE), on a Maximum Term Contract ending 31 December 2026. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Understanding of Work Integrated Learning and vocational placements (highly desirable) Practical knowledge of marketing and promotional methods to engage audiences that include employers and students Knowledge of recruitment practices Excellent written and verbal communication The ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines The ability to self motivate and work autonomously within a small on-site client team Knowledge of engineering and/or science sector (desired) Bachelor/tertiary degree in a relevant discipline A current WA driver's licence National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check About CCIWA CCIWA is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that has been the voice of business for more than 130 years.
