What You’ll Do Be accountable for the delivery, operations, and site availability, ensuring continuous service improvement (CSI). Assure and manage 24x7 support for Teradata environments hosted on all major CSPs: AWS, Azure, and GC Perform routine support tasks for the cloud services stack and virtual system operating systems, adhering to security and operational best practices and existing standard operating procedures. Oversee daily operations, including shift planning, providing support during challenging situations, setting goals, and conducting performance reviews. Plan and execute backup, archiving, and recovery procedures for cloud-based modern data platforms. Address cases and incidents promptly, ensuring compliance with established SLAs and SLOs Who You’ll Work With Our Cloud Operations team is a global force, managing end-to-end cloud infrastructure across major CSPs. The position will report to Senior Delivery Manager, Cloud Operations. What Makes You a Qualified Candidate Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field An experience with leading IT teams, managing 24x7 coverage is an advantage. 10+ Years of IT Experience working with Large Enterprise Customers. Several years of experience in managing Infrastructure operations, Cloud Administration, Data Platform/Lake management. Solid understanding of cloud technologies, including virtualization, networking, databases, and storage. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrable knowledge of cloud services for Compute, Storage, Network, and OS for at least one of the following cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP and experience in Linux OS Good understanding of ITIL (certification will be an advantage Hands-on with an industry-standard ITIL tool (ServiceNow experience preferred) What You’ll Bring Hands-on experience with managing Databases, Datawarehouse or Cloud Data platforms along with a strong understanding of cloud capabilities and limitations In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including experience with cloud infrastructure, services, and security best practices. Understanding of infrastructure components such as firewalls, load balancers, hypervisors, storage, monitoring, logging and security Proven ability to lead and manage a technical team, with experience in shift planning, performance management, and providing support during challenging situations. Strong understanding of 24x7 support operations, incident management, and maintaining high availability SLAs. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Commitment to continuous service improvement (CSI) and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
