The opportunity: We have an exciting new role at EBOS. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of activities and products, particularly using Agile methods. You will work closely with the Head of Engagement and Platform Managers / owners and other pertinent stakeholders to define the vision, keep everyone on the right track and ensure common priorities feeding this into the prioritisation of work for the Digital and Enterprise Application (DEA) team ensuring all products are built to an appropriate level of quality. The Delivery Manager ensures that work is planned, prioritised, and executed effectively, aligning business and technology teams on priorities, sequencing, and resource optimisation. This role bridges stakeholders and delivery teams, clearly communicating schedules, expected outcomes, and dependencies. What you will do: Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring that they are productive and focused. Acting as a hybrid of Product Owner and Scrum Master, the Delivery Manager balances strategic alignment with hands-on execution, supporting teams in delivering high-quality outcomes while fostering a structured transition to agile ways of working. Support and mentor the team in agile practices, helping them to adopt and improve their processes and mindset. Oversee activity timelines, resource allocation, and deliverable tracking to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and to the agreed scope. Track and report on team performance metrics, providing insights into progress and areas for improvement. Foster a collaborative environment within the team and with other departments to enhance innovation and problem-solving. Promote agile principles and practices throughout the organisation, helping to drive a culture of agility. Engaging with stakeholders regularly to gather feedback and align project goals with business objectives. Cultivating a positive team culture that encourages ownership, accountability, and a growth mindset. Demonstrated experience in managing stakeholders and coordinating across multiple departments to remove any impediments. Skilled at managing activities such as support, enhancement, and maintenance tasks in creating a centralised avenue for requests providing end-to-end management of those work activities.
