Located conveniently in Launceston, the practice provides a welcoming environment where our clinicians utilize state-of-the-art techniques to ensure gentle, compassionate care for every patient. Job Description As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you will have close working relationships with patients, clinicians and other support staff and report to the Practice Manager. This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You will be someone who enjoys working closely within a team and providing upstanding customer care. Other responsibilities include: Assist our Clinicians in providing high-quality dental care to patients. Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience. Reception duties - meeting & greeting patients, general and booking enquiries, record keeping, payment & insurance processing. Qualifications Experience as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist is preferred, but not essential. Strong communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
