We provide Aerial Fire Fighting, Emergency Assistance, Charter and Helicopter lifting services and support. The Role You will provide high level support to the Maintenance Controller managing the company’s aircraft airworthiness and maintenance control for all aircraft across all bases. This entails managing the servicing, maintenance, and scheduling program for our fleet of B214B, B214ST, B206, B204, B47, AS365 N2/3 & AS355 aircraft to ensure airworthiness compliance is met. Responsibilities Represent the Maintenance Controller and Airworthiness team at relevant meetings as requested and required by the Maintenance Controller. Assumes the role and responsibilities of the Maintenance Controller when the Maintenance Controller is absent for periods of leave as required. Ensuring compliance with CASA & FAA regulations and requirements and highlighting any deficiencies to the Maintenance Controller. Liaising with maintenance staff at all bases regarding documentation issues or maintenance issues. Monitoring of EASA, FAA and CASA Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins for applicability and informing Maintenance Controller as required. Assist with monitoring the continued effectiveness of the aircraft maintenance programs, including review and amendment of the Maintenance Control Manual, Systems of Maintenance, Maintenance Programs and Minimum Equipment Lists. Any other airworthiness tasks as required by Maintenance Controller. About You Proven experience in the aviation industry in relation to aircraft maintenance and maintenance control. Prior experience in a similar role is highly advantageous. Necessary skills and regulatory knowledge to enable you to be acceptable from a CASA perspective to act as the Deputy Maintenance Controller. A good working knowledge of aircraft reliability to enable you to take the lead with the current aircraft reliability program. A good understanding of relevant CASA regulatory requirements.
