Job Description

The successful applicant will demonstrate: a commitment to Catholic education, and an understanding of the leadership role in Catholic education; a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children; current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching; accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or be working towards gaining this; a completed Victorian Registration and Qualification Authority Fit and Proper Statutory Declaration; evidence of working towards or attainment of academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Master’s degree or five year equivalent); relevant leadership experience within the last five years in Catholic parish primary schools, or current experience in a role associated with and supporting Catholic parish primary schools; commitment to dialogue, teamwork and the skills to work collaboratively; a passion for working with children, dedicated to supporting their academic, emotional and spiritual growth; highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to relate positively with others; highly developed organisational and time management skills; a commitment to their own personal, spiritual and professional growth; experience in leading Learning and Teaching and/or Mathematics is advantageous.
