ESPN Australia operates the ESPN and ESPN2 subscription television sports channels, along with one of Australia’s leading digital sports networks comprising ESPN.com.au, ESPNcricinfo and ESPNfootytips. Disney+ has announced the expansion of its entertainment offering with ESPN sports programming coming to Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand. We are on the search for a Designer who brings a deep understanding of sports culture, fan engagement, and design expertise to craft assets that resonate with Australian and New Zealand sports fans. You will enjoy this role if you are conceptually minded and can think through ideas and transform thoughts into action-driven creative solutions. You are as comfortable following a brief as you are drawing on your own creativity or others to help take projects to the next level. You show a high degree of initiative and excel in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to: Support the creative vision and direction across ESPN brands and properties. Collaborate in the development of digital and print marketing assets for ESPN campaigns including ESPN.com.au, E App, EDMs, and social media. Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently, delivering high-quality work in a timely manner. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma or Sketch for UI/UX. A deep passion for sports and understanding of modern entertainment and sports culture. The ability to adapt and optimise creative for different screen sizes, ensuring that visuals are strong and consistent across all platforms. Skills in typography, grid systems, and responsive design for digital platforms. Experience designing digital and social outputs according to social/digital channel. Deep understanding of brand voice. A positive outlook and value strong stakeholder and team relationships and culture. The ability to keep a cool head under pressure and easily adapt to change, taking a flexible approach to meeting deadlines.
