At Design Process, we are a dedicated team of Project Managers, Engineers & Designers who provide multi-disciplinary engineering services, concept development, detailed engineering design and drafting. We have both domestic and international clients across a range of mining, mineral processing, and extractive process sectors. We are currently looking for mechanical engineers (at all levels), project engineers and structural/mechanical designers to join our Brisbane office to support large multi-site minerals processing projects in North Africa. We are offering the opportunity to contribute to significant projects and be involved from front end engineering through to detailed design phases. Successful applicants will have: Appropriate qualifications – degree qualified for engineering roles. Technical experience or exposure in the mining sector. Excellent time management with a focus on working efficiently and to high standards. Great written and verbal communication skills and ability to work efficiently. An Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or holding Australian permanent residency. Indicative responsibilities could include: Producing engineering deliverables such as data sheets, specifications and calculations. Produce/review engineering drawings, layouts and 3D models. Tendering, evaluating, awarding and managing vendor equipment packages including expediting and reviewing vendor documentation. Design calculations and equipment selection for various applications. Review Vendor documentation and facilitate incorporation into project designs with specific reference to ensuring constructability, operability and maintainability. Ensuring compliance with the project specific requirements and current industry work codes and standards. Execute project delivery within schedule, budget and quality criteria with a strong focus on safety. Pro-actively work to identify risks, both project and technical, and take appropriate action to ensure successful project outcomes. Attending site for short to medium term construction support as required. Coordinating works to meet project requirements. Preparing monthly progress reports, reviewing invoices and claims/variations. Reviewing schedules and expediting deliverables.
