Digital Marketing & Social Media Assistant Gondwana Rainforest Trust is a leading environmental not-for-profit organisation that protects and restores the unique rainforests of Australia. Since 2018 we have successfully acquired and protected 32 at-risk rainforest properties and supported the restoration of over 100 hectares of degraded rainforest habitat. Gondwana Rainforest Trust has ambitious and significant growth plans to ensure our precious rainforests are protected and rehabilitated. We are seeking a Digital Marketing & Social Media Assistant to join the Gondwana Rainforest Trust team in our Mullumbimby, NSW office. You will play a key role in crafting engaging content, building our online community, and supporting our mission of rainforest conservation. Working closely with the Digital Marketing/Media Coordinator and Communications Coordinator you will: Support the development of social media strategies to boost engagement & visibility Create compelling content across multiple platforms ensuring alignment with brand messaging Manage the online communities by responding to comments and messages Schedule and publish posts and maintain a structured content calendar Run social media campaigns and support the creation and distribution of digital content for our website and EDMs Develop creative mood boards for photographers and videographers Oversee influencer partnerships and collaborations Stay up to date on digital trends, marketing automation tools and best practices Track, analyse and optimise performance of campaigns by delivering monthly reports Work cooperatively with others to produce innovative solutions and recognise the merits of diverse perspectives and the ideas of others Demonstrate commitment to, and knowledge of, the principles and application of equal employment opportunities and anti-discrimination legislation in the workplace Work in accordance with the principles of equity, access, and fairness. Respect WHS work practices and procedures; work with due care and consideration to safeguard your own health and safety and the health and safety of others There is a requirement to undertake administrative tasks as necessary. You will have experience in using platforms such as scheduling software, video editing tools, Canva for content creation, Meta, and Google Analytics. A minimum of 1 year experience in social media, digital marketing, or communications is required. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritise tasks, problem-solve, and work independently.
