Overview: Part-time, Fixed Term position – till Oct 2026 - 4 days/week Salary Level HEW 8 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the City campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University About You The Digital Optimisation Manager is a member of the Digital Optimisation Team and is primarily responsible to manage the optimisation of RMIT’s digital channels and website to drive best practice digital marketing by using the full capabilities of the Adobe stack (AEM, Target, Analytics, Campaign, etc). They provide strategic advice and work collaboratively across IT, Marketing, Communications and Academic stakeholders to build a best practice experience across our Adobe platforms, with a focus on building brand reputation, increasing customer NPS, and driving lead generation and online acquisition. They lead a cross-functional delivery squad (CX, UX, UI and Developers) responsible for the continuous improvement of RMIT’s digital channels. They work independently and collaboratively to build a digital centre of excellence, enabling a broad range of stakeholders to extract value from our digital channels and platforms. To be successful in this position you’ll have as a minimum: Experience using the Adobe stack, particularly Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Target Experience managing a website/channel and optimising digital channels to drive engagement and acquisition Passion for and experience in user experience design, digital delivery and test and learn approaches Demonstrated experience working with stakeholder representatives implementing projects in large and complex organisations Proven experience to facilitate continuous process improvement and continuous improvement Demonstrated ability to provide strategic support and advice, work independently, and to achieve objectives operating within complex organisational structures Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check. The Experience function within I&E is responsible for Global Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions, Market Intelligence and Propositions, Alumni, Digital and Experience.
