The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) is currently seeking applications for a Director – Property and Security to join the friendly and collaborative Property and Security team. This ongoing full-time position can be located in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney. This is a hybrid role, with an office presence required to manage operations. Remuneration: The annual salary for the position is EL2 - $135,732 - $154,312 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%. About the opportunity: Reporting to the Chief Corporate Officer, the Director Property and Security works across our geographic footprint to lead a multi-disciplinary team of specialists in the areas of security, asset management, facilities and accommodation to deliver high-level services to ensure the Tribunal has a safe and secure footprint. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide high-level expert advice and support to senior management and staff and be involved in reviewing, developing and implementing strategies and initiatives to ensure the Tribunal is running efficiently. This also includes the development and implementation of quality frameworks, systems and processes to underpin sound decision making and deliver responsive, relevant and cost-effective services. About you: You will be a proactive and confident leader, willing to question the status quo. You will be creative in your thinking and drive positive change. To be successful you will have: Knowledge and practical experience in leading Property and Security functions in a federal or state government environment and relevant legislative requirements. Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and communicate with influence, and the capacity to provide expert advice on a range of matters to senior executives. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and exercise sound judgement, and to undertake and project manage complex projects to completion. Experience navigating organisational change whilst driving continuous business improvements, including identifying innovative solutions to deliver efficiencies. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a large and geographically dispersed multi-disciplinary team to deliver critical corporate service functions. Mandatory: Security Clearance – Negative Vetting Level 2 Security Clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain post-commencement. Desirable: Qualifications – Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property or Security or demonstrated equivalent experience highly desired.
