Job Description
Job Title: Director – Western & SAS Regions and Director – Southern Region Location: Various locations including Lake Keepit, Lake Burrendong, Orange, Dubbo, Narrabeen, Borambola, Berry, Jindabyne, and Wollongong Job Type: 6 months temporary, full-time opportunity with the possibility of extension and/or conversion to ongoing appointment. Salary: Total remuneration package from $223,416 - $247,519 (inclusive of superannuation and other benefits) About the Office: The Office of Sport is the lead NSW Government agency for sport and active recreation. We provide leadership, policies, programs, funding, and infrastructure to enable participation in sport and active recreation. About the Role: As a member of the Office of Sport Senior Leadership team, you will drive the implementation of the Office of Sport’s 2024 – 2028 Strategic Plan. Responsibilities include: Managing the end-to-end operations of the sport and recreation centres. Overseeing projects and programs aimed at improving participation. Delivering efficient programs that meet client needs and achieve the organisational strategy. About You: You are a strong and passionate leader with a track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams. You will possess tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in an appropriate field. Regular travel to various sports centres is required.
