THE ROLE A rewarding and challenging leadership opportunity exists for an innovative and experienced strategic asset lifecycle planning leader within the Asset Management branch, Homes Victoria. The Director, Asset Lifecycle Planning will develop and lead a collaborative and innovative unit focused on establishing strategies and plans which will maximize the performance of the existing asset and property portfolio (over 68,000 properties, approximately $35 billion) with a focus on improved tenant, environmental, risk management and community outcomes. Key deliverables will include the development of a Homes Victoria asset management strategy and asset class plans, including an asset condition and performance framework, an investment prioritisation framework and programs of work for the renewal, upgrade and maintenance of the housing and property portfolio. Are you: A strategic thinker with extensive experience in establishing and leading a world-class strategic asset lifecycle planning function in the public sector, property or infrastructure industries. Able to facilitate partnerships with government departments, regulators, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to collaborate on a range of issues which impact our tenants, community and the organisation. Able to inspire change, introduce innovation and make transformation and improvements through effective change management strategies. Solution-oriented with a track record of delivering exceptional outcomes in complex environments. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE As a member of the Asset Management Branch Executive Team, monitor and contribute to enhancing overall organisational and branch performance. Lead the development of Homes Victoria asset management strategy and asset class plans, including an asset condition and performance framework, an investment prioritisation framework and programs of work for the renewal, upgrade and maintenance of the housing and property portfolio. Ensure compliance with Victoria's Asset Management Accountability Framework and build the asset planning capability broadly across Homes Victoria.
