Job Description
Pay: From $220,000 per annum - (total remuneration package) Job Type: Full Time Location: Manjimup Closing Date: 7 March 2025 The Region The Shire of Manjimup is the largest geographical locality in the South West of Western Australia covering over 7,028 square kilometres, encompassing the townships of Manjimup, Pemberton, Northcliffe and Walpole with seven other populated settlements (Deanmill, Jardee, Nyamup, Palgarup, Quinninup, Tone River and Windy Harbour). The administrative centre of Manjimup is a designated Supertown and sub regional centre. The Shire’s natural landscape comprises great rivers, unique forests and spectacular coastline and offers a number of diverse experiences and attractions for tourism with approximately 85% of the Shire composed of National Park and State Forest. The remaining land is predominantly used for farming. The region is known for its premium agricultural, viticultural, and horticultural products. The Position The Shire is actively seeking a high-performing professional who embodies strong leadership qualities and possesses expertise in dynamic team management, capacity building, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will resonate with the Shire’s commitment to positive change, continuous improvement and innovation. This position is an integral part of the Shire’s leadership team, responsible for managing all aspects of infrastructure and environment services across the Shire. The position is offered under a performance-based contract for up to five years, with an attractive total remuneration package from $220,000 per annum, negotiated with the successful candidate.
