A key function of the Mental Health Commission is to drive the whole of government NSW Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy. An exciting opportunity is available for a dynamic individual to join the Mental Health Commission in this key strategic role leading and directing the provision of business services across the Commission to ensure effective and efficient provision of financial, human resources, corporate governance, business support, procurement and contract management, and ICT support. This role will be located in York Street, Sydney.About This Role With your skills and experience, you can contribute to the valuable work of the Mental Health Commission driving the mental health and wellbeing of the people of NSW.The Director, Operations and Engagement is a key strategic executive role within the Commission, that brings together multiple complex areas and aggregates them into the one role to ensure the Commission meets its legislative functions. The position leads the business operations of the Commission including audit and risk, legislative compliance, finance and procurement, operating policy and procedures, facilities management, IT and people and culture. The role ensures performance and continual quality improvement are optimised to meet required regulatory, governance and government standards and align with the Commission’s strategic priorities in order to achieve the strategic goals of the Commission.This is an ongoing, full time, Band 1, Public Service Senior Executive (PSSE) role.
