The Director of Payroll Services is responsible for the leadership and management of the payroll function for TMR and ensuring delivery against strategic objectives, translating strategic direction into tactical and operational priorities, and collaborating effectively across the organisation and with our customers. Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: Provide senior leadership and manage the operational performance of payroll services in a complex and dynamic environment to ensure service performance is maximised and that both business requirements and customer service standards are met. Provide strong strategic leadership to develop a high performance ‘customer first' culture and staff engagement. Build staff capability to sustain performance through effective coaching, mentoring, development, and the implementation of professional development strategies. Ensure a rigorous internal control environment and effective governance arrangements are in place to reduce risks, meet audit requirements and assure customers. Negotiate services, performance standards, performance indicators, and revenue with agencies on an annual basis and work closely with agencies in reviewing and revising annual service demand. Build effective relationships with customers to ensure service quality, consistency, and timeliness. Lead large teams to ensure the effective and consistent provision of services to customers, state-wide, as well as engender and develop a strong customer focus by developing and implementing strategies that: Build partnerships of trust, honesty, and integrity. Demand understanding of customer needs. Gather and apply business intelligence. Provide for timely resolution of customer service delivery issues. Direct the performance and operations of the payroll function by managing the development and achievement of appropriate performance standards and outcomes. Be accountable for the operational management of end-to-end business processes and for optimal customer service and business benefits. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
