We seek a full time Disability Services Manager to oversee and lead our Disability Services (DS) Department. This key leadership role has responsibility for a team of Coordinators and Support Workers. The successful person will manage the operational and strategic needs of our DS Department, whilst ensuring service compliance and building on the reputation of SAFC Disability Services. The DS Services Manager MUST have significant experience in business development to grow existing services and expand into new service models. We are looking for an individual whom: Shares our Vision Can fulfill our Mission Aligns with our Values Complements our existing team Is energetic, and Creates fresh ideas for the organisation The successful candidate will benefit from: A positive and supportive culture and working environment Option to work flexitime with a day off a month A competitive remuneration package inclusive of salary packaging Free and secure onsite parking Working with a team dedicated to SAFC’s Mission The ideal applicant will have: Relevant Bachelor degree or higher Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role in the disability sector Effective networking, business development skills and established connections in the sector Extensive knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards & Quality Indicators and Restrictive Practices Experience in working with the Office of the Children’s Guardian, Specialised Substitute Residential Care complying with relevant standards and requirements Demonstrated experience in managing and leading staff and teams Experience in working with major stakeholders including families, government bodies and peak agencies Financial literacy and the ability to interpret financial reports and identify/ resolve financial issues Strong IT skills including CRMs and Microsoft office suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills An ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines A flexible and adaptable work style Experience in policy development NSW Driver’s licence A National Criminal Record Check and Child-related screening is a requirement for this position.
