Part of the leadership team True business partnering role About Our Client An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Divisional Financial Controller to join a leading organisation servicing a broad range of industries across Australia. This role is a key member of the Victorian/Tasmanian Management team, providing commercial and financial support to operations while working closely with senior leadership. Job Description Reporting into the Group CFO and a line also through to the General Manager, your role will be responsible for Management reporting and analysis, including preparation of monthly P&L statements, variance commentary, and management review packs. Leading the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Attending and presenting at business reviews and budget presentations. Conducting financial analysis to identify key business performance drivers, including client profitability reviews. Driving profitability improvements through state-based profit improvement plans. Reviewing and preparing costings and pricing for tenders. Managing the price increase process, including supporting documentation for client discussions. Responding to ad-hoc financial information and analysis requests. Directly managing a team of five across the states. The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have: CA/CPA qualification and relevant finance degree. Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role with a strong background in providing commercial and financial business support. Demonstrated ability to drive profitability initiatives. Logical problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset. Strong time management and prioritisation skills. Comprehensive experience in both financial and commercial management.
