About us: Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. For over 15 years, we have been supporting older people, and people living with disability, to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community. Our friendly, compassionate and experienced team makes this possible. The role: This role involves travelling between customer’s homes and assisting them with domestic duties. We have positions available on the Central North, Central and South Gold Coast for Domestic Assistant workers looking for 10 - 15 hours per week, Mon - Fri. Duties and responsibilities may include: Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress Provide updates on customer progress following each service About you: Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills Ability to build rapport & good working relationships Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback What you will need: NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check Current First Aid certificate/CPR Current Australian Drivers License Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle Smart phone with internet access Current Working with Children Check (preferred) Next steps: If you would like to join our growing team and become part of our friendly, professional network please apply today by clicking on “Apply”.
