Job Description

We are seeking motivated Domestic Services Officers to join our team in providing an efficient and safe service working across the West Coast District Hospital. The successful Domestic Services Officer will: Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in ward and ancillary areas in accordance with established policies, standards and guidelines while maintaining patient confidentiality. Collect and dispose of all waste including contaminated waste into appropriate receptacles. Provide a domestic service, including infection control cleaning across wards, office and residences. Follow universal precautions when conducting infection control cleaning of cytotoxic and sterile areas. The Team: As a unit of the Tasmanian Health Service, Primary Health North West are focused on providing exceptional services to our consumers across our District Hospital and Community Health Services. Our team work together to deliver quality clinical outcomes and exceptional patient care, and are dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation in healthcare delivery. Details of appointment: Permanent, full time, shift worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible. Salary: $57,130 to $59,443 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
