This is a rewarding and challenging professional career-development opportunity for an entry-level Drafting Cadet to join our busy Drafting team, located at our stunning Robina Head Office. Reporting to the Drafting Manager, your responsibilities will include: Coordinating external drafting and engineering resources; Producing design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit; Assisting in the creation of drawings and incorporating design amendments; Assisting other drafters with administrative tasks; Ensuring all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy; Completing drawings to Metricon’s standards and drafting procedures; Adhering to demanding timelines; and Providing innovative design solutions. The successful candidate will have: Unequivocal attention to detail; Experience using AutoCAD and Revit is essential; Completed a tertiary qualification in Building Design and Drafting, or an Architectural Degree; The ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced team environment; and Work experience within the residential building industry would be an advantage but not essential.
