We have an opportunity for an experienced Driver Trainer to join our team based on the Central Coast of NSW where you will be responsible for delivering training and assessing competency to our new and existing employees across our range of heavy vehicles. Our Logistics division supports our customers throughout Australia and with over 2,500 employees nationwide, you too can become part of our iconic Australian Brand. We are a leading national manufacturing brand with vision and innovative progress when it comes to joinery and interior design industries, and have been for over 30 years. As a privately owned Australian company, we continue to invest in advanced technology, with many in-house departments working across a broad scale of projects, which therefore enables an opportunity for a career path like no other. Our national fleet consists of over 300 trucks ranging from HR to MC vehicles. Our transport division undertakes both local and interstate transport activities transporting our own products throughout the country. Our vehicles are serviced and maintained in our in-house workshops. In this role you will be responsible for: Delivering and developing internal training programs Conducting on-site training with new and existing employees Ensuring employees are trained to operate in line with company standards Maintaining current industry knowledge and skills for the various vehicles our employees will be trained in This position is located at our facility in Somersby; however, it will require frequent travel to our other sites as required. We also have large depots at St Marys and Oberon. About you To succeed in this role you will have: A current MC licence and extensive driving experience (Volvo experience would be an advantage) Formal qualifications in training and assessment A strong understanding of mass management and fatigue management rules A strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety legislation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management and organisational skills As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric, drug and alcohol testing. #J-18808-Ljbffr
