About the engagement: Green Light have an exciting opportunity for a high calibre, experienced Dynamics 365 Business Analyst to join one of our delivery partners based in their Australia offices in Melbourne location. As a Dynamics 365 Business Analyst (BA) with POS experience , your roles and responsibilities would typically include bridging the gap between business requirements and the technical implementation of Dynamics 365 solutions, particularly in the retail domain. Job Responsibilities/ Accountabilities Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to retail operations, POS systems, and Dynamics 365 applications. Document business processes, workflows, and user stories to ensure the POS system meets organizational needs. Conduct workshops and interviews with end users and key stakeholders to identify gaps in current processes and propose solutions. Collaborate with technical teams to design Dynamics 365 solutions (e.g., Commerce, Finance, and Operations) integrated with POS systems. Create functional specifications for customization and integration of POS with Dynamics 365. Ensure the solution aligns with industry standards, compliance requirements, and best practices. Identify opportunities to improve POS functionality and business processes using Dynamics 365 features, such as reporting, AI-driven insights, or advanced retail analytics. Keep up to date with Dynamics 365 and POS system updates, upgrades, and emerging technologies. Recommend optimizations to reduce operational inefficiencies and enhance customer experiences. Required Skills/Experience Technical Knowledge : Dynamics 365 (Commerce, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service), Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate), SQL, and integrations using APIs. Retail Expertise : Deep understanding of retail workflows, sales processes, inventory management, and customer loyalty programs. POS Systems : Experience with POS systems like Dynamics 365 Commerce POS, LS Retail, or similar tools. Soft Skills : Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
