EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) Operations Director (AVP)- Periodic Review Apply locations Thames Street Wharf Utah Ops Center Tampa FL 4050 Call Center Time type: Full time Posted on: Posted 12 Days Ago Job requisition id: PT-3263456 We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Enhanced Due Diligence Director in Operations to oversee processes related to the Enhanced Due Diligence program. The Director will support the execution of the Firm's EDD protocols for both new and existing customers. This includes providing subject matter expertise guidance, oversight of the progression of account reviews, hosting team meetings, and collaborating on training efforts and process improvement initiatives. In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Team Specialist position at Director level within Client Service & Relationship Management, which is responsible for managing internal and external client relationships. We do this by engaging in client service activities, optimizing the client experience, and managing vendor/external business partner relationships. What you’ll do in the role: Serve as a subject matter expert within functional area, working with Team Manager to manage processes, risks and/or projects, proposing and implementing improvements/changes. Act as key problem solver for area of expertise, applying detailed knowledge to address unique or novel situations, recognize risks and draw out key issues. Coordinate work, train and develop other team members where required, including task allocation and project contribution. Understand BSA/AML regulations. Understand foreign and domestic business entities and structures. Partner with Field partners in completing KYC requirements for clients subject to enhance due diligence reviews. What you’ll bring to the role: Ability to lead by example, work with drive and determination, and put forward challenging views to senior levels. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team. Ability to operate independently across the majority of day-to-day responsibilities. Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values and acting as a role model. Proficiency in Spanish/Portuguese language skills. Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with various stakeholders. Evidence strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Be able to handle highly confidential information professionally and with appropriate discretion. Four year college degree. Currently hold SIE/Series 99 or able to obtain. At least 4 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
