About The School Emmanuel Christian Community School is a co-educational K-12 school located in Perth’s northern suburbs. The School opened in 1982 and now has an enrolment of over 700 students. The School’s Vision and Mission can be found on the School website. We invite applications from suitably qualified, inspired, and energetic Education Assistants looking to make a difference in the lives of young children. This role will assist the classroom teacher and provide care, learning support, and supervision for students. This is a parental leave cover for Semester 1, 2025. The position will be for the period 28 January 2025 to 4 July 2025. The successful Applicant will: actively support and promote the objectives and ethos of Christian Education as articulated in the Vision and Mission of the School be a Christian, belong to a church, and be called to this ministry demonstrate initiative, excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively hold a Certificate IV in Education Support Address the following Selection Criteria (no more than one page in total) Your suitability for this role Your experience working with children in a primary school setting Experience with ICT skills Competent oral and written literacy skills Organisational and administrative skills The application must include: Completed Education Assistant application form (download from our careers page) Resume Document addressing the selection criteria above Current Working with Children Card National Police Check Certificate Proof of Citizenship/Eligibility to work in Australia Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.
