A job to be proud of: The Event Health Services (EHS) Training Support Officer is responsible for the maintenance of EHS volunteer training records. You will provide support to divisional activities and assist with the development of EHS volunteer retention strategies. EHS’s mission is to provide the most professional clinically appropriate and timely event health service in Western Australia to our clients and patients; while maintaining an engaged, highly-trained and well-resourced membership. The role is a permanent full-time role based in Belmont working with a friendly and enthusiastic team. What you’ll do: Coordinate feedback and assist in implementing operational strategies. Support the Event Health Services management team to ensure that department KPI’s are met. Act as the liaison between the EHS Support Services team and EHS Operational team. Provide day to day support to EHS Divisional Team Leader to ensure that continuity of volunteer divisional duties. Regularly review Senior Management reporting requirements and generate reports for management as required. Support department initiatives to improve connection & collaboration with volunteer team members to maintain engagement whilst increasing participation rates. Develop volunteer resources to support engagement strategies which drive participation and the retention of volunteers. Provide support and leadership at various Divisional activities, awards and recognition events, training workshops various team building events. Assist the EHS Divisional Team Leader in planning, implementation and delivery of various initiatives that may include but not limited to EHS volunteer network, strategy workshops, engagement, values and cultural driven programs. What you’ll need: Good problem solving and organisational skills. High attention to detail. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to liaise with volunteers from a variety of different backgrounds. Strong administration abilities and the ability to generate reports from systems and analyse data. High level of customer service and influencing skills. Ability to work independently without day-to-day supervision, use initiative to ensure that duties are performed to a high standard, communicate with various stakeholders. Ability to create presentations and key documentation/communication, solve complex problems in unique circumstances and create values driven engagement initiatives. Previous experience providing support to volunteers in a not-for-profit organisation (desirable). What’s in it for you?
