The Opportunity There are 2 x EL1 labour hire contracts available , which are long-term 12-month engagements with 12-month extensions.You’ll join a team working on Official Development Assistance procurements, grants and programs, specifically in the Pacific region. The programs provide support for Pacific priorities, including climate change, infrastructure, education, gender equality, health and connectivity. The government is investing $36.8 million over the next 4 years to improve the Department’s capability in program design, procurement, monitoring and evaluation.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to international aid programs that benefit the Pacific region. You’ll secure a long-term labour hire contract and be a trusted advisor for Departmental staff.The Role You will be contracted to deliver on the following outcomes: Undertake a survey of the Office of the Pacific and create a procurement and grant agreement tracker. Ideally, the tracker will contain all agreements that are currently underway, planned and or proposed for a 1 or 2-year period. It will include status of agreements under a traffic light system and highlight current risks, particularly compliance with departmental procurement and grant policies.
