EL1 Project Manager Defence Projects (NV2 or TSPV Clearance Required) Location: Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane or PerthClearance: NV2 or TSPVExperience: Minimum 4 years in project management (Defence project experience highly preferred)Role Overview The EL1 Project Manager will lead complex Defence and national security projects , ensuring successful delivery within secure and classified environments . The role involves strategic planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and governance , with a strong focus on compliance with Defence policies and security frameworks . Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end Defence infrastructure, security, and transformation projects with a high level of autonomy. Oversee project scope, schedule, risk, budget, and resource allocation to ensure smooth execution. Engage and influence Defence and government stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Apply Defence-specific project management methodologies, including PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile. Prepare high-level reports, briefings, and submissions for senior leadership and government committees. Ensure compliance with Defence policies, security standards, and regulatory frameworks. Required Skills & Qualifications: Certified in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP). 4+ years' experience in project management, with a strong preference for Defence sector projects. Proven ability to manage classified and security-sensitive projects. Strong proficiency in project management tools and risk management practices.
