Project Support Officer -(Defence ICT projects) We are seeking a highly experienced Project Support Officer with a strong background in Defence-related ICT implementation projects. This role is responsible for providing essential administrative, procurement, and financial support for complex Defence ICT initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Defence Project Expertise: Apply extensive experience with Defence ICT project methodologies, ensuring project delivery meets Defence standards and protocols. Risk & Stakeholder Management: Maintain comprehensive risk registers and stakeholder matrices, conduct regular reviews, and facilitate risk workshops for Defence ICT projects. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure project documentation aligns with Defence audit requirements and project control standards, managing document libraries and supporting project assurance activities. Stakeholder Engagement: Execute communication plans, enhancing relationships with Defence stakeholders and ensuring project goals are effectively communicated. Administrative Support: Provide ongoing support, including schedule management, resource allocation, reporting, and secretariat support, to ensure seamless Defence ICT project operations. Qualifications: Demonstrable experience in Defence ICT project management and strong organizational skills. Solid understanding of Defence procurement and finance protocols. Positive Vetting (PV) security clearance needed. Desirable: Project certifications (Prince2, Agile) and experience in procurement within a Defence context.
