These programs and services are supported by a dedicated team of Special Education Program staff. As Head of Special Education Services, you will be responsible for leading these programs and services.About The Role The HOSES position will be split into 2 roles: Role 1 - 1 FTE (0.5 HOSES plus 0.5 inclusion teacher) responsible for and assisting in the delivery of the Special Education programs in ECDP and Prep - Year 2 Role 2 - 1 FTE (0.5 HOSES plus 0.5 inclusion teacher) responsible for and assisting in the delivery of the Special Education programs in Year 3-6 and support Torbanlea SS In These Roles You Will: Focus on educational leadership, participating in delivering the vision of State Schools Division Develop the quality of teaching and learning Implement and coordinate school-wide systems including data systems to monitor students with disability and record the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability. Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders. The Head of Special Education Services is accountable to and under the direction of the Principal or delegate.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.
