Expression of Interest - ICT Principal Business Analyst Clerk Grade 11/12 ($145,378 - $168,130 + super) Full-Time Temporary to 30 June 2026 Sydney location with hybrid working This role sits in the GovConnect ICT Shared Services division of the Department of Customer Service. It is responsible for the technical discovery, solutioning, and documentation of customer and business requirements, including projects and initiatives. Key responsibilities: Investigate problems, analyse options, and provide recommendations for new and existing services, new initiatives, strategies, and products to improve compliance, effectiveness, and address risks. Review and propose business improvements and contribute to the development, facilitation, coordination, and communication of initiatives and strategies to ensure organisational consistency and adoption of best practices. Leading technical discovery workshops. Documenting ICT requirements and solutions to a Business Design Brief or Client Presentation format. Supporting project managers and engagement leads on upcoming project and BAU requests. Analysis and reporting on collected systems information. Working with SAP providers to determine interdependencies with ICT requirements. Work with vendors and internal DCS ICT and other divisions to build the solution. Service Design and Transition support for onboarding into ICT Enterprise offerings. Machinery of Government ICT business analysis and requirements gathering. Create complex internal process and engagement documents. To be successful in this role you will: Be of technical mindset and hold the capability to solution ICT pathways for client projects and requests. Enjoy liaising with clients and documenting client requirements. Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills: You can effectively analyse information, identify key issues, and develop solutions. Have solid understanding of Okta, AD, and 0365 environments. ICT Shared Service Infrastructure knowledge. Knowledge of Teams, SharePoint, Azure IaaS/PaaS, Sailpoint, Okta, and general web-based authentication. Understanding of AWS and Azure Cloud environments.
