Based in Brisbane, our client is one of Australia's leading technologists in Remote Piloted capabilities assisting Commercial and Federal Government programs. They are seeking an experienced Remote Pilot(s) to help support a number of initiatives and projects across Australia. This role would suit candidates who have the experience and leadership skills to work independently and remotely as well as representing our client dealing with local authorities and the customer(s) more broadly.Candidates will have experience in either multi-rotor RPAS and or fixed-wing systems. The capability is designed to work in and across complex environments in remote localities, delivering services and support to state and federal initiatives. Candidates will be experienced in coordinating with relevant local authorities as well as other stakeholders. You will have experience and a traceable history in successfully completing and executing missions. Candidates with beyond line-of-sight experience would be highly regarded.The role: The ability to work in remote locations Good communications skills both written and oral My time documentation and operational manuals as required Act as company representative Fly in complex conditions Maintain safety standards Act as liaison for local regulatory bodies Requirements: Completed the CASA BVLOS exam Maintain equipment and fault-finding skills Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) Multi-Rotor 25 kg powered lift RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) qualification Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) Certificate 3 Aviation A working knowledge of CASA regulations relevant to RPAS operations. Experienced with diesel vehicles, trailers and off road (as required) Australian Citizen. Must be eligible for an AGSVA Security clearance. This role would be ideal for a former ADF member who has experienced in the aforementioned requirements.
